🤎 Original 1957 German Chocolate Sheet Pan Cake!!

This Original German Chocolate Sheet Cake recipe from 1957 in Dallas Texas features a rich chocolate cake and a delicate custard topping packed with shredded coconut and pecans.

Made in a 10x15" pan (or on a cookie sheet), this recipe is large enough for a crowd but doesn't have any of the extra layering steps! Serve this right from the pan!

Make these with einkorn or any all-purpose wheat flour.

Packed with all the classic flavors of a traditional German Chocolate Cake, with a fraction of the effort, this cake is ready to eat in less than 45 minutes!

We recently had a crowd over for lunch (about 22 people, it was awesome!) and this was one of the desserts I made. We served it right from the glass pan and it was a huge hit!
